At CHS, Science is an exciting subject full of questions and curiosity about the world. Our vision is to give every child a science curriculum which enables them to have confidence and courage in exploring and discovering the world around them, so that they have a deeper understanding of the world we live in.
Our aim is to embed a knowledge rich curriculum whereby each year, every child builds on their knowledge and skills and are prepared for the science and technology careers of the future. To achieve this, our science curriculum involves a balance between knowledge based lessons and stimulating, practical hands on experiences that encourage further curiosity and questioning.
