CHS World Book Day

Walking Dictionary:
Children (and staff) are being invited to dress in a plain t-shirt with a chosen word and the matching definition. Throughout the day, we will encourage our children to discover new vocabulary and discuss their chosen word.
Potato Book Character Competition:
Children are also invited to decorate a potato as their favourite book character (see some examples below).
There will be a winner in each class chosen by the teacher, and who knows you may even win a prize!
World Book Day Assemblies
We are also holding World Book Day assemblies including our first whole school assembly in a long time!
