10 June 2014

The contractors, Morgan Sindall, started work, on the former Alcott Hall site, in June. Access to the site has been via Beech Avenue, for deliveries, via Lime Grove, for key staff and visitors, whilst some sub- contractors  have also been accessing the site via Walnut Close

The main focus of the work to date has been to construct roads on site; undertake the ground works and begin to build the frame.

The erection of the frame of the building has been completed, with some brickwork now being added. Pipework is being prepared before the floor slab is installed during the second week of September.

Progress has been excellent due to the good weather over the last few months.

Please view the slide show to see the progress of the build during the month of July.
